Description

Photography Print of Uniquely Dearborn Manhole Cover Honoring Henry Ford titled 8×10

Anyone that lives in the Historic District of Dearborn has probably walked over one of these covers. I was drawn to photograph these for a few reasons. First, to Honor Ford Motor Company for coming such a long way despite all the obstacles. In addition, to honor the workforce of Michigan, specifically East Jordan, for doing their best to keep our state going.

History: Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) was the American founder of the Ford Motor Company and father of modern assembly lines used in mass production. His introduction of the Model T automobile revolutionized transportation and American industry.
